Madeleine Woods

Madeleine WoodsMadeleine Woods was a joint concentrator in English and Folklore and Mythology with a secondary field in Archaeology. Raised in rural Colorado near a wolf sanctuary, Madeleine is an expert wolf handler as well as an experienced horseback rider, hiker, and martial artist. While at Harvard, she was a passionate IM team captain in Winthrop and held leadership positions in the Social Innovation Collaborative and conVRgency. She has been awarded the David Rockefeller International Experience Fund Grant, the Le Baron Russell Briggs Traveling Fellowship, the Swapna Dev Book Prize, the Richard Harris Gottesman Award, the Class of 1955/Robert T. Coolidge Thesis Prize, the Fulbright Scholarship to Norway, as well as state and national visual art awards. Madeleine is pursuing an MPhil in Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic as the Lionel De Jersey Harvard Scholar at Emmanuel College.
